Manfried was raised in a small town of Germany, which had a college near by which he attended to take medical classes. In the end, he got his bachelors degree in medical science and took up the role of a traveling doctor to heal the sick and injured. Much like the other red and blue colored veriants of the medics who were hired by Mann co., Manfried acquired a medigun and a needle launcher, both he rarely uses outside of battle.
