Some would probably mistake him for Daro, but this is not the case. He is a shadow creature much like Daro himself, but not as good at self-transformations so he is stuck in his stunted nomad form. He does not have a problem with his own height, but when someone mentions it to him he often takes out a buzzsaw axe and goes for their legs to make them as short as he is.

As for a history, he was a heartless that was made when a Nomad in the Borderlands had their heart devoured. He himself having gained sentience much like Daro, Nomad continued on with his own greedy ways of looting any dead he came upon, killed by his own hand or by the dangers of the Borderlands themselves. He does devour hearts from time to time, though such sightings of feeding have yet to be reported in detail as the ones who reported such sightings were killed before they could finish their communications.
